There are several ways leads can be assigned to an agent: - In the Add/Edit Lead under Lead Management -> Manage Leads area. Select an agent from the Assigned Agent drop-down menu.

- Through
cookies. If a lead visits an agent’s page before viewing other pages on
your company’s website, and has cookies enabled in their browser, they
will be assigned to the agent whose page they visited. For more information about how this feature works, click here.
- By
listing. If a lead contacts you about a specific listing, and that
listing is owned by an agent, they will be assigned to that agent.
- Through contact routing.
Some
methods of assigning leads to agents will override others. Manual
assignments take the highest priority, followed by cookies, listings,
and then contact routing. If none of the above conditions apply, leads
will be sent to the account’s primary contact email. This priority ordering applies to both manually added leads and those generated through email signup and My Property Manager. When a lead is assigned to an agent, that agent will receive an email notification letting them know that they have a new lead waiting for him in IDX Broker. Please note that these email notifications will not go out to agents if Contact Routing on the account is disabled.
