The Mortgage Calculator is a useful tool that helps your customers and potential clients determine their price ranges, monthly payments and down payment. A link to the calculator appears on every property details page, with the price of the home already filled in.

You can also add the calculator without pre-filled values to your website. Place the Mortgage Calculator link from Account Management -> Page Links anywhere in your site navigation.

You can customize the CSS for your Mortgage Calculator in the last section of the Customize --> Custom CSS page. The My Preferences -> Global Preferences -> Mortgage Calculator section allows you to select default settings for the mortgage calculator:

  • Enter a default value for the Price field. This will only apply if a user goes directly to the mortgage calculator – if they access the calculator through the details page for a particular property, that property’s price will be displayed here.
  • Enter a default values for the Down Payment field.
  • Enter default interest rate and term values.
  • Select Yes to display amortization tables by default. If you select No, users will still have the option to display the table.
