If you have an asp site and your search forms are not working correctly, check your Global Wrapper to see if there is an opening form tag in the Global Header Code section. This will usually display shortly after the opening body tag.

Older asp sites surround the contents of the entire page with form tags. Since you can't have one form within another, including those form tags within the wrapper will prevent your IDX forms from correctly directing you to a results page. To correct, replace both the opening and closing form tags in your global wrapper with div tags, and apply any styles that were tied to the form element, if applicable.

You don't necessarily have to remove any other form elements like inputs from your wrapper unless they are causing problems.

Because your home page will have this same issue - form tags surrounding the page - you may have trouble inserting a functioning search form widget on your home page. Contact your site designer for assistance adding forms to your home page.
