Sub Headers are a great way to add extra, unique content to any of your IDX pages. Because you can enter in text or HTML content into your sub headers, you can embed different types of media that are shareable throughout the web, like YouTube videos. Embedding a YouTube video in a sub header is quick and easy.

First, find a video on the YouTube site that you would like to add to one of your IDX pages. Underneath the video, you should see a Share button. Clicking the Share button will display your options for sharing the video on other web pages. Click the Embed button to display the code you will need to embed the video in your IDX sub header. Copy this code.

In your IDX Broker control panel, go to Customize -> Sub Headers. Find the sub header for the page where you would like to embed your video and paste the code you copied from YouTube into the sub header and save your changes. You can also add YouTube embed code to the Special Link Subheader for any Saved Links stored in your account.

View your IDX page to see your embedded YouTube video in action! Below is an example of a YouTube video added to the Special Link Subheader for a custom Saved Link featuring homes in Sunriver, Oregon. You can view this page here.
