This article describes how to use your IDX Broker Wordpress plugin. If you haven't already downloaded the plugin, you can do that here.

NOTE: If you received an error when attempting to save your WordPress settings, please verify that you have entered the correct CID number. Please also verify that you have entered the correct password, and/or IDX account subdomain before calling technical support.

Step 1 is to bind your IDX Broker account to your new Wordpress plugin. To do this, enter your client ID in the form provided. You're client ID appears in your welcome email and is a four or five digit number (e.g, 1234).

Step 2 is to enter your IDX Broker account password. This will encrypt and store your IDX Broker password so that your Plugin can retrieve all of your system and saved custom links from IDX Broker.

Step 3 is to enter your IDX subdomain. This is usually the root domain hosting your IDX pages. It will normally look like "http://mysite.idxco.com" or "idx.mysite.com" if you have setup a custom subdomain. All IDX results and details display using either the default subdomain, or a custom domain defined by you. Enter that value here:

Step 4: After you have filled in these three fields, click the blue Save Changes button at the bottom of your screen.

Setup Complete! Now you can get started with your IDX setup.  Click the links below for more information on how to add IDX Broker links and widgets to your Wordpress site using the plugin.
