A limited refinement search form can be displayed at the top of your search results pages. This feature can help your site visitors narrow down a large results set and quickly get to the specific properties they want to see.

You can adjust the display of the Refinement Search by going to My Preferences -> Global Preferences -> Results Page Options and using the"Show Refinement Search" preference.

This preference has three options:
  • Never - The Refinement Search will never display on any of your search results pages.
  • Always - The Refinement Search will always display on your search results pages, regardless of the number of listings returned.
  • Only When Maximum Results Exceeded - The Refinement Search will display only on search results pages that display the maximum 250 listings.

The criteria shown on the refinement form, such as the list of cities and low and high prices, reflect the data that is returned in the results list.
