You can set default minimum and maximum prices for listings in search results by going to My Preferences -> Global Preferences -> Search Options. Enter number values into the Minimum and Maximum fields provided next to the Global Default Prices field.

These prices will be automatically pre-filled on your search forms.

The prices set here are independent of property type. These values are use only when there is no property type specific value to use. You can set property type specific minimum and maximum prices by clicking on the "Set Individual Defaults by Property Type" button which is located to the right of the global maximum default price field.
