Agent Bio Pages

Agent bio pages are included with all IDX Broker Office accounts. The agent bio page gives your agents a place to call home on your office's website. Each agent's personalized bio page can include a photo, contact information, a written bio, and a list of all of their active MLS listings. You can access your agent's bio pages by logging into IDX Broker and going to Manage Users/Offices -> Manage Users. If you haven't added agents to your account yet, you can find instructions on how to do that here.

Click on an agent to bring up their bio management page. If you or your web designer have not filled out bio information for your agents yet, you'll want to go ahead and add content to a few key areas of each agent's bio.

Link to a Photo - Use this tool to upload and agent photo. Click here for tips and tricks on uploading and re-sizing bio photos.

MLS Membership ID - Enter in the agent's MLS ID. This field is required for displaying Featured Listings on the bio page.

Bio Details and Page Header - Use the editors here to add custom content to each agent's bio page. The Page Header usually contains the agent's name and title, and will appear on any IDX page tagged with an agent code for lead generation. The Bio Page Details usually contains a short written history on the agent, as well as their contact information.

More information on all of the agent bio features can be found here in our Knowledge Base. You can also provide your agents with their own IDX Broker login, so they can edit their bios themselves. We have provided video tutorials designed especially for your agents to train them on their agent-level IDX Broker features.

Agent bio pages with IDX can be a great tool to attract and keep web-savvy agents!

Prevent Spam Leads - Turn On Captcha

It's exciting to see leads comes into your IDX Broker account, but it can be discouraging to see that some of those leads may be submitted by spam bots. While we can't prevent spam bots from filling out your contact forms, we can help you prevent them from successfully submitting their false information to your IDX account by using Captcha. This feature will require new leads to enter in a string of text from a provided image. If the lead cannot enter in this text correctly, they will not be able to submit their information.

To enable Captcha on your IDX account, go to Lead Management -> Lead Registration Preferences. Under Lead Registration Options, toggle the Use Captcha Verification preference to Yes and save your changes.

View any of your IDX contact pages on your website, and you will see the Captcha image and text box displayed right above the submit button at the bottom of the form.

Reducing the amount of spam leads you receive will allow you to focus on real buyers interested in working with you!

Price & Location Based Lead Routing

Several lead routing options are available in your IDX Broker Office account. You may have agents that only cover particular counties or cities. You may have other agents that only market luxury, high-end listings. IDX Broker's Core Fields Contact Routing allows you to route leads by listing price or location directly to the relevant agent in your office that they should be working with.

You can set up price and location based lead routing rules in IDX Broker under Lead Management -> Contact Routing. First, make sure the contact routing mode is set to core fields.

Click the plus sign icon next to Add Contact Route to enter in your lead routing rules. You can add rules based on city, county, state, zip code, MLS, and price range. You set up multiple rules for multiple agents! For example, you can have all leads inquiring about listings in Portland automatically sent to John Smith, and all leads inquiring about listings over $800k sent to Mary Jones. You can set up as many contact routing rules as you would like.

IDX Broker's price and location based lead routing tools help you build your business by matching the right leads to the right agents!
